Update on my life: About two weeks ago, I quit the studio I worked at for a year. There was some really shady stuff going on, so I just quit. After I quit, I quickly learned what a fraudulent business that place was in general, and now I'm just livid that I ever let myself become associated with it in the first place. But, we learn from our mistakes, right?

So, since quitting, I've started my own thing, and can I just say how great things are already going? Seriously, I'm getting inquires from potential clientele like crazy, and I'm constantly being messaged on Facebook by former clientele and other local photographers congratulating me on not just starting my own little business, but for also getting out from under that ridiculous studio's "name".

I hate to talk bad about anyone or anything like I'm doing with this, but I just wish I could tell everyone in this town about the shady crap that went on around there.

Anyways, sorry for ranting on! I'm actually excited for school to start for the first time ever. I've slacked off the past 2 semesters, but this fall I'm taking 6 classes to get caught back up. The best part is, only one is on campus, too. So that means, I'll be able to start working mornings at Old Navy again, then work evenings on campus in the photo lab, where I'll basically be paid to do homework (all I do is supervise the photography/computer editing labs on campus, and make sure no one steals or breaks any equipment). I'll also be able to keep afternoons and weekends open for photoshoots, too. I hope I'm not getting myself into more than I can handle, but I have faith that it'll all work out just fine. :)
